Surviving English

…a personal guide to surviving English as a language, a content area, and a career.

Résumé and CV

This page gives a little information about my educational background and jobs I’ve held in education. Just for privacy reasons, I’m not including the names of the schools at which I’ve worked (though if you really want to know, you could probably do some basic research to find out). If you’d like more information, please send an email. (:

Objective:

I want to teach. That’s pretty much it – the beginning and the end of my objective. I have a passion for learning; I have a passion for sharing knowledge. I love making others question their own world views. I want to build, challenge, destroy, and rebuild ideas. I want to make students take ownership of their opinions and beliefs and assume responsibility for what they think. In the process, I want to make them better readers, better writers, and better thinkers.
