A facelift and a bit of insight…

I’ve been tired of my WordPress theme for a while. It’s not that it was bad; it just got old, so I’ve changed it to something a little more “me.” (:

I’m also making it a point to post more frequently – at least once a week or so. This is mostly to force myself to keep up with what’s going on in education, but it’ll also (hopefully) help me develop some new lesson plans for the upcoming year.

In other news, you should check out “What Students Wish Their Teachers Knew.” It’s a blog post written by a colleague of mine named Lindsay Bowley, and it gives some great insight into the middle school student mind. It also reinforces a lot of the things teachers “know,” but often forget to consider when working with their students.

Have a great weekend!
